Budget Bike Transport. We will be offering mass transport of bikes over the next few weeks. The idea is that we will run a truck (pic) which can take around 80 bikes in total from JHB to Cape Town and then a full load back to JHB once a month every month. I suspect the trip will run from the first weekend of the month. The bikes will be brought to our depot’s in JHB and Cape Town during the course of the month and then loaded in the last week of the month. The truck will leave JHB on the Saturday to arrive in Cape Town on the Monday to be offloaded at our depot in Montague Gardens. It will then be loaded with bikes to go back up to JHB, to be delivered to our depot in JHB. Rates will be around R1500.00 for a scooter, R1750 for a mid range bike and R1995 for a large bike. Pre booking is essential and payment is to be made in full on booking. This service is aimed at those folk who are in no rush to get their bike or who want to make a considerable saving on their bike transport.
Our normal weekly scheduled trips will remain going forward. The trucks leave Cape Town on Wednesday, JHB on Saturdays and Durban on Thursdays and Sundays.
