Motorbike Transport Trip 145.
Loading up trip 145 at the Cape Town depot. On its way from Cape Town to Robertson to collect a Honda CBR 1000 then onto PE to deliver it. Then collect a pit bike in Grahamstown, before heading to East London to deliver the Triumph Daytona. Then onto Durban to deliver the dirt bike and to collect a scooter. Then up to JHB and Pretoria before heading back to Cape Town via Potchefstroom, Bloem and Knysna. Nice little round 4 day trip.

Motorbike Transport is extremely specialized. Not only must the drivers be very aware of the size of trailer they are towing but also bikes tend to move around, immaterial to how well they are tied down. So constant checking in the rear view mirror for movement, checking straps and security of the bikes every time they stop. The tie down straps we use are all custom made to my own specifications and are based on a 25 mm ratchet and strap with a breaking strain of around 300 Kg.
