Insurance whilst in transit.
Additionally many clients are falling into the trap of using service providers who claim to have insurance over your bike whilst in transit. This is your bike after all, but the least you could do is to check that the service provider has adequate insurance and that his premiums are paid up to date and is currant. If it is not you will not be covered in the instance of an accident. Bike Freight Transport does not provide any form of insurance over a client vehicle whilst in transit or at any other time. It is entirely the responsibility of the owner of the vehicle to ensure there is adequate cover over his /her asset.

Bike Freight Transport does not transport household goods, fridges, garden waste, building materials or rubble. we transport bikes. Why anybody would trust a service provider who advertises that they transport anything and would trust them with your bike. It is beyond me. When I first started this business I had 5 bikes to transport up to JHB. One of which was going to Middleburg MP. I entrusted these bikes to Time Freight, who transport all manner of goods. When the bikes arrived in JHB three of them were damaged. The bike that was delivered to Middleburg was placed on a pallet on its side and tied down with bits of rope. They had no idea how to transport a bike. These are the sort of people you will be dealing with if you use general commodities transport companies.

Use those companies that have invested time and money in perfecting how to transport your motorcycle safely and securely. The simple check here is the name of the company. If it does not say “Bike” or “Motorcycle” or “Motorbike” somewhere in the name of the business they are probably not specialists in the business of transporting motorcycles. More than likely a general commodities freight company not specializing in motorcycle transport.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
