Motorcycle Transport trip 142. Last of the Harley’s back from Africa Bike week in Margate KZN to Harley Gold Rand in Johannesburg and Harley Cape Town. After completing 64 bike transports in three weeks it is good to be finished. This was not at all plain sailing. A week before we were due to start with the first loads of bikes going up to Margate from Cape Town and down to Margate from Johannesburg one of our drivers had an accident and wrote off the truck and did around R34,000 damage to the trailer. So that was one full crew out of action.

Not by luck, but by design we have another three trucks and acquired a fill in driver from Imperial Truck Rental as well as securing an additional trailer from JP Trailer Hire in Cape Town. So all in all we managed to complete the job with no major issues if just a couple of delays for some of the bikes but no train smash. Motorcycle transport trip 142.
Now that the Harley job is finished we can start catching up with all the other bookings we could not do at the time because of the written off truck. So still very busy playing catch up.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
